Live screen
See and control your desktop in real time.
Helm shows your PC screen on your Android phone and lets you control it, like a remote desktop for your own PC on your own network, with no account. Open the Screen tab. The PC captures its screen with Windows Graphics Capture, encodes it with the GPU’s H.264 encoder, and the phone decodes it in hardware. It is built for under 50 ms on 5 GHz Wi-Fi at 1080p60.
- Trackpad mode moves the cursor relatively; direct-touch mode clicks exactly where you tap.
- Pinch to zoom and drag to pan around a large screen.
- Pick a monitor, choose a quality preset, and open the keyboard overlay.
- Turn on PC audio to hear the PC’s sound (Opus) on the phone.
- The stats overlay shows resolution, frame rate, bitrate and latency.
- Record starts an MP4 recording with audio on the PC.
- Pen mode sends stylus pressure, tilt, hover and eraser; fingers are ignored.
The stream adapts its bitrate to your network and reconnects by itself.
