Anywhere access
Reach your PC away from home Wi-Fi.
Helm works best on the same Wi-Fi as your PC, but you can also control your PC from your phone away from home, or wake it up first.
USB
Turn on USB tethering on the phone and plug it in. Helm uses the tether network and shows a USB badge.
Relay
The relay is a small Cloudflare Worker you deploy yourself (the relay/ folder). The PC keeps one outgoing connection to it; the phone connects to it from mobile data. The normal pinned TLS session runs inside the tunnel, so the relay only ever sees ciphertext. Pairing never happens over the relay.
Wake-on-LAN: turn on your PC from your phone
A saved PC that is asleep shows a Wake button. The phone sends the magic packet itself on your network, or asks another awake PC to send it for you.
Several PCs
Pair as many PCs as you like and switch between them. Each PC keeps its own settings.
